Ménage is a studio session produced by disco producers Eric Matthew (Gary’s Gang, Fast Radio, Sharon Redd, and Tracy Weber) and Warren Schatz (The Brothers, Vicki Sue Robinson, New York Community Choir, and Forecast) featuring studio vocalist Ellen Bernfeld – who also appeared on disco projects “Wizard Of Oz” by Meco and Celi Bee’s “Fly Me On The Wings Of Love”.
“Memory” is a cover from the Broadway smash hit “Cats” – it is a wonderful and high-energy disco- orchestrated version which brought the early 80s some peace and happiness for true disco lovers.
I have taken the disco track and paired it with Walt Disney’s 1970 animated feature “The Aristocats” – the story of a group of aristocratic cats whom are kidnapped and paired with an alley cat. The scene shifts from Broadway cats to animated Disney cats – for a bit of fun and colorful disco painting.
