ReStructure Mix Update (8/12/21) “Take Away The Rain” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Sidewalk

Sidewalk is high energy/electronic project from producers Ian Levine and Steven Wagner. Following their work on high energy dance music throughout the late 70’s and early to mid-80’s a perfected outline and arrangements. High energy music, a continuum of disco music had reached the peak of its own sound during the mid-80s. “Take Away The Rain” is one of the dance tracks which play out with perfection in arena for which it was created. The swirling sounds of electronic strings are the disco compass of time. The vocals have a touch of the 80’s free form and work well over the smooth arrangement which both Ian Levine and Steven Wagner created many times before and once again with this release.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “Take Away The Rain” and recreated a dance storm for this ReStructure Mix. More of the bass sequencer patterns are used in several areas to give this new version a whole new direction.
