ReStructure Mix Update (6/9/22): “Stop! In The Name Of Love” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Quantize

Quantize is Chris Lucas and Damien Paule – a high-energy dance session that was released on Passion Records (UK). Their 1990 cover of Diana Ross and the Supremes, “Stop! In The Name Of Love” is one of their streamline electronic disco productions with the hip-hop swap beat used to bring it into the 90s. One of the more intriguing of the groups since the sweetness of the original is fully intact. A nice keyboard rendition and hard hitting street beats make this one an instant feel good track.

I have taken the 12” version of Quantize’s “Stop! in The Name Of Love” and rewound the Motown classic for this ReStructure Mix. There is a new drop beat to bring the power into a more slammin’ feel and more of the wonderful keyboard inserts.
