Disco Zip File #28 - Canadian Disco Explosion!

Hydro featuring Lorna
Country: US
Released: 1979
Genre: Electronic
Style: Disco
Credits: Featuring - Lorna
Producer - Joe La Greca , Joe Marandola
Notes: Recorded at Montreal Sound Studio for Dee Jay Productions.

Electro-disco project produced by Joe LaGreca (Vera, MTL Express, Melody Stewart, Kat Mandu, Carol Jiani, Lime, Chris Mills, Peter Batah) in 1979. Great keyboards and guitar licks emphasis the disco energy in this recording. “Stop Your Teasing” is the main cut with the most play from the album and features LaGreca’s fantastic synthesizer and percussion effects. This album is very reminiscent of Melody Stewart’s fantastic 12” release, “Action Satisfaction”/”Get Down, Get Down”.

Glenn,
Great disco, I've been a big fan of Lime and have almost everything they put out. I have to say I like the Fussy Cussy selection better than Hydro, but there both good. These picks are what disco was all about, make you want to get up and boogie. Thanks Glenn for sharing the memories.

Glenn,
Both of these selections are new to me. I must agree, with the previous post. I like the FUSSY CUSSY the best. It is very similar in style to LIME. I am a BIG LIME fan. My favorites are "YOUR LOVE", "BABE WE'RE GONNA LOVE TONIGHT", and "ANGEL EYES". I like the HYDRO cuts as well. I appreciate you taking the time to introduce me to the music I have missed through the years. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES !!!!! KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT JOB of keepinng us informed. Your new mixes of "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH", "CHERI", "GET UP AND BOOGIE", "GOOD THINGS, DON'T LAST FOREVER" and "ROCK THE BOAT" are PURE GENIUS !!!!! HOW ABOUT SOME GLORIA GAYNOR !!!! PLEASE !!!:-))))
Thanks,
Alan
