Remember Me - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Cynthia Manley (formerly of Boystown Gang)

• Remember Me - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Cynthia Manley (formerly of Boystown Gang)
A period where high energy music and disco was quite scarce was the early 80's. Most dance music had shifted to a lower BPM and more soulful sound - removing many of the strings and horn arrangements that made disco music complete. Bill Motley was focused on producing artists and projects utilizing these classic elements. His many success stories are now a bit part of disco music's history. "Cruisin' The Streets" was an EP containing the title track and a Diana Ross Medley featuring Cynthia Manley on vocals - the song instantly became a dance floor hit and helped to revive the sound of disco music that many were hoping had not passed. I have taken the medley and remove "Remember Me" from the medley - "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" has always been the favorite of the medley and although it is flawless I have taken the opening part of medley and placed it alone with a ReStructure Mix. Besides with Cynthia's fabulous vocals it could not go wrong.

Glenn,
Amazing work on a real classic. I remember when Diana Ross originally did this in the early 70's. I loved it !!! It was one of my favorites by her. Then along came the Boystown Gang and Ms. Manley and WOW, what a medley !!!
You have taken my favorite from Diana and given it a whole new meaning. Cynthia's vocals are wonderful and I love how you gave it a whole new identity.
