"Seabiscuit In The Fifth" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Belinda West

• "Seabiscuit In The Fifth" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Belinda West

Released on Panorama Records in 1980 – Recorded by Belinda (Womack) West a well-respected jazz vocalist from Augusta, Ga. The track was produced by Bruce Dees and Rob Galbraith and was a savior during its release. It reached #14 on the Billboard Dance charts and was also one of the most original dance songs of its time. And along with Belinda’s outstanding performance this track has much to last with.

The wonderful lyrics played out a no-loser betting opportunity on love from the nightlife – obviously a woman wanting something with confidence.

I have taken the original 12” arrangement and made few changes with only a few new points of interest along the mix. This ReStructure is dedicated to the hardcore dance followers who can’t get enough of great dance music.
