• "This Side Of Midnight" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Gregg Diamond's StarCruiserGregg Diamond's StarCruiser was Marlin Record's 1978 Bionic Boogie. Diamond created a disco-fied symphony of strings and funky guitars on this project. "This Side Of Midnight" was the first single to hit dance floors. It featured vocals headed by Diva Gray and Gordon Grody. The track was an instant hit with it's innovative use of keyboards, bass synthesizers and Diamond's magic.
The LP contained several dance worthy tracks and even today looked at by disco audiophiles as flawless compositions.
I have taken "This Side Of Midnight" and blended pieces all over into a new mix with new bass syn-drums and beat tracks. Is has always been a track I have deeply loved and recreating the scenario was a labor of love.
