"If You Believe In Me" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Montreal featuring Carol JianiJoe La Greca (Erotic Drum Band, MTL Express, Hydro, Melody Stewart, Chris Mills) was a leader in the Canadian disco explosion of the late 70's. A whole new concept utilizing the drums and bongo rhythms to move rhythmic bass lines.
Montreal is another studio concept which played out like a stage band jamming with a full dance floor at bay. Along with Carol Jiani (billed as Uchenna Ikejiani) on vocals this recording is an underground feel with the raw feel that disco music began with. Jiani warms up the tracks like a den diva making her presence as smooth as silk. This is one of Carol's moments ("Hit N' Run Lover", "Mercy") - even today she continues to "believe" is disco music - very few artists have this allegiance, notoriety and dedication.
