His dedication to soul roots was always evident in his performances - perhaps one of the most powerful male voices and distinctive. His path into disco music in the late 70's began with a big disco hit titled "Contact". This track is one of the most exciting and extensive dance mixes of 1978. It is now one of the Top 10 disco classics.
This ReStructure Mix gives a bit more adventure to the original 12" inch version and is dedicated to Mr. Edwin Starr.
