"Searchin'" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Hazell Dean
Hazell Dean is a British pop-high energy artist who is an early diva icon of the Stock, Aitken and Waterman machine. Her 1984 album "Heart First" has the big high energy hit, Searchin"" which became the sounding drum for high energy dance music in the early 80s. It was a big moment for dance floors - only is it could keep up.
I have taken the original 12" version of "Searchin'" and created a ReStructure Mix - breaking the song into more segments and using parts of the vocals to tease the flow of the remix. It is one of many dancers favorite singles of 1983 and continues to remind us of the excitement and fun dance music is all about.
