REISSUE: “Don’t You Want Me” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – The Human League

REISSUE: “Don’t You Want Me” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – The Human League The Human League is a synth pop band from the late seventies who also lead a new dance era of synthesizers and dance beats. Their 1981 album “Dare” is their biggest achievement and used their style in a newly directed dance generation. “Don’t You Want Me” is their pop, radio and dance floor masterpiece which come off a bit moody and dark, however the innovative use of keyboards and engineering brings it out like a framed masterpiece. It is one of the biggest of the time and continues to echo the 80s scene over and over. I have taken the 12” radio vocal and instrumental to recreate a new ReStructure Mix with more of the deep pieces of the electronic arrangement. The play with the songs story provides a nice surprise at the close of mix and also gives way to another period of whether this drama is over or not.
