REISSUE: “Anthem” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – N-Joi

REISSUE: “Anthem” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – N-Joi Techno and trance music of the 80’s were a statement to disco music. It helped uncover all of the electronic sounds and grooves created by those disco producers who used a touch of electronics to create a mood or innovation in music. Giorgio Moroder, Boris Midney, Voyage, Jacques Fred Petrus, Alec R. Costandinos, Tantra and many others brought to the forefront a stream of electronic chords which brought a whole new life to music. “Anthem” by N-Joi is a techno/house track which brought 1990 into an age of dance music using pieces and variations of techniques. The track is unforgettable when it strikes what it delivers – a simple use of sampled yet emotional pieces along with hardcore bass and a neo-classical piano insert. A very notable time for dance music and again for bands like N-Joi who broke the mold once again. I have taken the 12” version of “Anthem” and stripped away the sampled bit (which took allot of persuasion to do so) and left this ReStructure Mix bare. Using only parts of the monumental bass parts and the beautiful piano chords. It brings a whole new life to a wonderful piece of techno dance music.
