ReStructure Mix Update (8/9/24):”Robert Di Nero’s Waiting” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Bananarama

Bananarama are Keren Woodward, Sarah Dallin and Siobhan Fahey – an 80’s female trio who lasted through 2022. The aces have changed several sessions but the “purrfect” sweetness and sound has always been there. “Robert Di Nero’s Waiting” is a track from their 1984 self-titled project – produced by Tony Swain and Steve Jolley. A song directed at the Italian actor and the awe and safety he gives the ladies on a night where the night is suspicious and unfriendly. The buildup of the track is simple dance floor formula however for these ladies it always resonates beautifully.

I have taken the 12” version of “Robert Di Nero’s Waiting” and reapplied some ReStructure Mix elements to this new mix. Flowing in parts and allowing room for a few breakdowns and a new break.
