Suzy Q is a disco artist created by Jerry Cucuzella and features a number of vocalists on lead - on the 1989 single “Come On and Dance With Me” we have Angie Vileno taking over. This electronic dance track is a mid-tempo hypnotic house track that plays out like a sexy lure into the groove. It features muh of the space-tastic effects that these productions used to blend the energy into beats. A nice riff here makes the song stand out and gives us another opportunity to hear this studio group play out an infectious track.
I have taken the “club” and “house” mixes of “Come On and Dance With Me” and reworked both into a new ReStructure Mix. I have used the sequencers to weave a new intro and breaks throughout this new arrangement. More of the pieces that are center stage are put right where they belong.
