ReStructure Mix Update (7/4/26): “Living In Oblivion” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Anything Box

Anything Box is a dance project from producer Jon St. James who also gave us Stacy Q (“Two Of Hearts”) and Bardeaux (“Three Time Lover”). This project features Claude Strillo who provides vocals and also arranges and programs synthesizers. “Living In Oblivion” is a single from their 1990 project titled “Peace” and follows the high energy mold of the 80’s with its melodic and plea for a sense of knowledge in life. This one has been compared to Limahl’s “Never Ending Story” with the somewhat whimsical feel of both music and vocals. It is one of the big pop-dance tracks of 1990 and also helped to bring back the lyrical disco sound which always seemed to be welcomed by dance floors throughout time.

I have taken the 12” versions of “Living In Oblivion” and blended parts and pieces of the mixes into a new ReStructure Mix. I have painted the same fantasy feel over with more emphasis on the song's appeal for beauty.
