Harry Thumann created a fantastic classic with his concept and production of “Underwater” – today the song still rings as powerful as it did during its initial release. Horns, strings, and Thumann’s best synthesizer injections. There is information on many sites that Thurmann actually built synthesizers. It is also noted that he left us in 2001 – which is sad news. This project, Kangaroo was certainly not Thumann’s best work, but outlines some of his techniques and ideas. “Bahamas” is a fun Calypso-styled dance number with a lot of fun vocals and a great break. Be sure to take out the Carmen Miranda hat before listening! “Chicago” contains some great synthetic effects (ex. Vocals, keyboards) and Thumann’s bland but effective vocals. This project definitely sounds similar to Nu-Wave synthesizer projects like Telex.

Not allot of fooling around here – straight disco created during the electronic fusion. Great syndrums and keyboard effects. Simon Soussan has quite an unstable reputation in the record industry - but we are more concerned here about the memories he has created on the dance floor. Jessica Williams is evident here are her road leading to the solo LP “Queen Of Fools” is obvious.

The great LP with the medley segued by Tom Moulton. Gaynor is feeling out the disco scene with a series of remakes on this LP produced by Meco Monardo who moved onto producing his own series of disco covers (Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Meco Goes To Hollywood, etc).

OMG !!!!! What a ZIP FILE this one is a MOTHERLODE of treasures !!!!! You never cease to AMAZE me !!!!! Beyond, my wildest dreams. This is the BEST YET. Just when you thought they could not get better. You up the ANTE !!! This is a HOME RUN. We have Gloria's debut album, that superb medley of "HONEYBEE", "NEVER CAN SAY GOODBYE", and"REACH OUT" with the flip side, which I adore. After you did that KNOCKOUT restructure on "NEVER CAN SAY GOODBYE". I wish you would consider restructuring some of these shorter cuts of hers like "SEARCHIN" and "FALSE ALARM" for years these needed a first class remix and you are the one to do it. Please consider it at a point in the future. MORE GLORIA RESTRUCTURES from you, PLEASE ???? Next one of the best ARPEGGIO'S "LOVE AND DESIRE" Oh my gosh, love it and that whole album just burns. The medley of "LET THE MUSIC PLAY" is so gorgeous. There is not a bad song on this album it is DISCO at it's best.
