"Don't Hold Back" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - ChansonChanson was bass guitar player, James Jamerson Jr. and David Williams - both forming a soulful/disco duo and although Chanson is only a part of their career - they have also played on many other disco and soul projects.
"Don't Hold Back" was a big soul/disco radio hit in 1978 and helped to bridge the gap between both R&B and disco music. Later the group released an Lp and featured Linda Evans (not Dynasty star) as lead vocalist.
I have ReStructured their 12" single emphasizing on the bongo break and creating an extended and whole new vision for the song.
