"Your Song" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Laura LeeLaura Lee is a soul singer who began recording in the mid 60s - best known for her track "Rip Off" on Chess Records. Laura recorded a disco single in 1979 on Fantasy Records titled "Satisfaction" produced by Don Davis and arranged by disco genius Patrick Adams (Phreek, Musique, Inner Life, Universal Robot Band).
The 12" single featured a flip-side titled "Your Song" which was a mellow and short (3:26) version of a sweet and soulful track - I had always loved the song and played it as a closing number for years during early morning sets - both dance floor and stand up clubs. It always worked well - but the 3 minute version was always too short. With no dub or instrumental - I ReStructured the track looping and adding a few drums beats and keyboards.
