REISSUE: “A View To A Kill” by DJ’s Factory – Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera
DJ’s Factory is a German studio group produced by Adrian Askew (Tone Band) and Bullent Aris. Their 1985 cover of Duran Duran’s “A View To A Kill” is an Italo-disco piece which takes the song into a subtle energy. It flows nicely and gives the song a new sense of meaning.
I have taken the 1984 film “Body Double” starring Craig Wasson and directed by Brian De Palma, the 70’s and 80s version of Alfred Hitchcock and placed the voyeuristic scenes into this Disco Video Mix to outline the lyrics. It gives the song the visual of the danger our main character encounters during his venture into peeping into neighbor’s privacy.
