Claudja Barry brought dance floors many flavors of "boogie" - from "Sweet Dynamite" in 1976 to "Boogie Woogie Dancing Shoes" in 1978. All with the magic created for dance floors and her fabulous and iconic persona.
"Boogie Tonight" is from Claudja's 1978 album "I Wanna Be Loved By You" and was the second release from the project. It is the mellow-side of Claudja's hypnotic vocal and sexy delivery. It has the formula of New York disco and the sophistication of the pop-Euro sound.
I have taken the 12" version and gave a ReStructure Mix to add a new dimension of beats and groove to this fantastic number. Break out the fake-furs and high heels - it is time to "boogie tonight"!
