Madleen
Kane brought the chic and sexy feel to disco music in 1978 with her
first album “Rough Diamond”. This was the beginning of a legacy in disco
music history with the appeal which brought the connection between
European disco and the image of the sensual image that pulsating disco
music brought to mind. “Let’s Make Love” is from the album – produced by
Jean-Claude Friederich. This number is one of the sexiest recordings
from Madleen and plays out well with its full orchestral arrangement.
The vocal that brought the disco scene some of the most exciting dance
tracks is teasingly irresistible here.
In
this Disco Video Mix I have appropriately used the 1960 musical comedy
by the same name – “Let’s Make Love” starring Marilyn Monroe and Yves
Montand. The disco piece here is played out as if it were the existing
number for Marilyn - the icon of Hollywood sex appeal. A match made in
heaven for Ms. Kane and a treat for all of her fans and new ears and
eyes.
This Disco Video Mix is dedicated to Madleen Kane.
