The sound unleashed in 1977 from Bernard Edwards, Nile Rodgers along with Kenny Lehman is a funk-tastic edge of disco with that sophisticated groove and energy. Their first big single, “Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah)” is one of the most contagious of all. I have taken the 1946 MGM biggie, “Ziefeld Follies” and blended images and patterns from both the folly and dance numbers to give Chic’s dance classic a uniform video with legs and rhythm to follow for a long time.
