France Joli became of the disco music’s gem and the start of her career became the flame that burned on in discotheques from the release of her classic “Come To Me” in 1979. This powerhouse project was produced by Tony Green and featured some of the best performers of disco music from the near past, The Sweethearts of Sigma and future bloomers including Denis LePage (Lime). “Let Go” is the second cut from the project and is the girl-talk ad-libs of a bad relationship and feeling early remorse over ending it. This one is as outlined as disco music allows and gives of the power of the bass and strings in the disco music genre. France also delivers a wonderful vocal which gives of the pain that the theme is intended to outline.
I have taken the album version of “Let Go” and made way to use the original elements to recreate a new experience for this ReStructure Mix. The breaks and percussion riffs and realigned for the energy once again.
