Diana Ross made Motown a classic sound for girl groups along with The Supremes in the 60’s and throughout the 70s she found her new title “The Boss” in disco music. In the 80’s her venture made a new place for her move on 80’s pop-dance tracks. “Dirty Looks” is from the project “Red Hot Rhythm and Blues” from 1987 and is produced by Tom Dowd. This track plays with the sexy innuendo and gives our lady a chance to use her vocals with a lure and sexy edge. It has the heavy percussion which makes the dance floor the perfect landing and as this number continues on it takes off with Diana’s sexy overture.
I have taken the 12” vocal, instrumental and bonus beats of “Dirty Looks” and revamped it for this ReStructure Mix. There are extended bridges throughout this new take and also a couple of new breaks to give it a new lift for the soul.
