click! is an 80’s synth-pop ensemble featuring Adriana Camacho, Claudia Given and Rocio Sobrado – and produced by Alan Coelho (Tapps) and Hernani Raposo. The theme of their music featured Latin compositions to a synthesized dance pop beat. “Duri Duri (Baila Baila)” is their 1987 single from their project “Con Amor Para Ti”. A piece following the high energy sound of the mid and late 80’s with the senoritas serenading us throughout the number. An infectious vocal is the lead in of the song and brings to mind a celebration from then on. One of the big hits in my club and a very popular T-Dance song.
I have taken the 12” long version of “Duri Duri (Baila Baila)” and replanted the energy into a new mixture for this ReStructure Mix. There are a few familiar percussion riffs added from the disco classic band Sana Esmeralda and more music per castanet clack!
