Habit is Nick Amour, Andy Carroll and Mick Martin. This trio created a deep house sound which became the staple of many cover-songs during the late 80’s. “Fly Like An Eagle” is their bass-driven effort on the Steve Miller Band rock classic from 1976. This production moves below the surface with a deep bass synth rolling over the houses drums kicking away. It is an effective transition to the dance floor of the early 90’s and brings back that fantasy edge this song always produced.
I have taken the 12” vocal and dub versions of “Fly Like An Eagle” and placed it in a new soaring ReStructure Mix. The energy moves along as booming as it did during the release and a few new stops have been added along the way.
