Fancy is an electronic dance project created and performed by German born singer/musician Manfred Alois Segieth. His growth in dance music has succeeded no only his releases under Fancy but also many of his productions with many artists including Slip and Grant Miller. “Flames Of Love” is his release from 1988 and rings out like a disco love anthem. The keyboards serenade his wondrous and somewhat lost vision of a one-sided love where he plays the fool as he sinks deeper in love. The essence of Fancy can be understood as this one covers all of his mastery in creating an aura of high energy music for a dance crowd waiting for drama.
I have taken the 12 vocal and instrumental of “Flames Of Love” and relit a new ReStructure Mix to homage this vital 80’s dance session. The new drum beats pump over this new arrangement which gives way to more of the love which is somehow a mystery in this track.
