ReStructure Mix Update (11/21/23): “Sahara Nights” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – F.R. David

F.R. David (Elie Robert Fitoussi) is a French singer who began his recording career in 1967. His dancer floor fame came from tracks like “Sahara Nights” released in 1987 and produced and arranged by Celso Valli (Passengers, Tantra, Azoto). This track is a dreamy bass track driven dance number that reflects an aura of the desert nights and its beauty. F.R. David delivers a nice enticing vocal gives us the intent of a moonlit night with dunes awaiting romance and adventure. A nice 80’s synth-pop piece that echoes the early morning feel of a dance floor.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental versions of “Sahara Nights” and realigned a new ReStructure Mix for this song. It plays out in a new way with a new drum track added in segments and also a new arrangement leaving the finale a place for the roaring chorus riffs.
