ReStructure Mix Update (3/1/26): ”Lucky Charm” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Hard Corps

Hard Corps are Clive Pierce, Hugh Ashton, Regine Fetet and Rob Doran - an 80’s synth-pop band from London. The sound of their music could be haunting and moody with a slight rock edge. “Lucky Charm” is their 1987 self-produced single which points to an early morning sound with layers of peculiar choruses and breaks. This one always screamed out to me with that deeper meaning where hidden messages are contained. Much of the sequencers are rolling bass tracks that take the dance floor into a mystique realm that gives off touches of Bronski Beat and hints of Eurythmics. One of the fluent dance tracks and a good start to acquaint yourself with the band if you are unfamiliar.

I have taken the 12” versions of “Lucky Charm” and rewired the tracks to create this new ReStructure Mix. Layering two of the versions for a new adventure into this concealing song.
