Linda Imperial is a club diva who began recording
with the disco group Loverde in 1980 - featured in the big disco hit,
"Die Hard Lover". Following this induction to the dance floor, Linda
has since released her singles, "Stranger", her own cover of "Die
Hard Lover", "Killing Me Softly", a fabulous high energy version of
Brenda Russell's "Get Here", and a high energy take on "Where The
Boys Are".
Linda makes the dance seem like a disco lounge at times with her beautiful vocals - and in her 1987 track "Fire" (produced by Leo Frappier) she sets the dance floor into flame over this fantastic 80s production encompassing all of the energy into one single.
I have taken the original 12" single version and created a new ReStructure Mix dividing the arrangement into a whole new "4 alarm" mix. I have also added some new surprises and extended this hot number into a 9 minute version.
Dedicated to Ms. Linda Imperial - with thanks to her diva "fabulous-ness"! And also Mr. Leo Frappier for taking the reins of high energy music in the 80s - making the fantasy last!
