ReStructure Mix Update (9/30/13) “Time Of Your Life” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Stephanie Mills

Stephanie Mills is a soul/funk and disco voice who brought power to the end of the 70s with hits like “You Can Get Over”, “Put Your Body In It” and the early 80’s with Sweet Sensation” and “Never Knew Love Like This Before”. It seemed as through a love affair with Stephanie’s unique vocal and positive themes had only begun. Stephanie’s album (her tenth release) from 1985 contained more of Stephanie’s magnetism on the dance floor with the electro-dance tracks “Stand Back” and “Time Of Your Life”.

I have taken the 12” single of “Time Of Your Life” using the vocal, instrumental and acapella to create a new ReStructure Mix which is lengthier and has a few drop spots to feel Stephanie message which outlines the excitement of making life special by celebrating with an uplifted mind and attitude.

“Time Of Your Life” was produced by Richard Rudolph who co-wrote Minnie Riperton’s “Lovin’ You” and also produced Teena Marie’s “Lady T” album.

This ReStructure Mix is dedicated to Nick and Lindsay in response to their request for this hidden 80s dance piece from Ms. Mills.
