REISSUE: "Cherchez Pas" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Madleen Kane

REISSUE: "Cherchez Pas" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Madleen Kane

Jean-Claude Friederich produced Madleen Kane's third project titled, "Sounds Of Love" - another great disco LP from the sexy and beautiful Swedish songstress. The track "Cherchez Pas" was the first single hit the clubs - it was like the rebirth of disco all over again. The blaring horns and the nice touch of "wiry" guitars created a wall of energy under Madleen's sultry vocals. I can recollect that many people would approach my booth asking if this were Deborah Harry singing the song.

"Cherchez Pas" in French means, "don't go looking" or "searching" as in "don't go looking for another" - I believe she is singing about how incomplete her life would be without that special someone next to her in the discotheque.

The track is being divided in this ReStructure to give it a more underground disco feel - with some exploding to accent the power of these breaks.

Dedicated to the guys at Multiply whose love for disco music is the best I have seen.
