REISSUE: "Double Dutch Bus" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Frankie Smith

REISSUE: "Double Dutch Bus" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Frankie Smith

It was 1980 and dance floors were experiencing a shift in music and attitude. Much of dance became funky and electronic - many of the high energy tracks that were being generated were either from the disco renaissance or Imports from Europe. It took a funky track like "Double Dutch Bus" to give dance floors a fun and carefree angle on changes in style.

Frankie Smith moved into the dance market with a novelty style rap that is now a lighter side of hip hop with a colorful side. Produced by Bill Bloom and Frankie Smith this track has become both an old school classic and a wedding reception must!

This track is a safe remix again, from a project which outlined a more basic edit. I share it with all of you to remind you of the side of disco which became old school.
