ReStructure Mix Update (10/13/19) “Disco’s My Life” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Boogie People

Boogie People is a Canadian disco ensemble lead by producers Dominic Sciullo (Montreal, Nancy Martin) and Vincent Clambrone (Tamara Lorninz, Claudia Hart) – and was a new breed of disco music during the early 80’s. Their album titled “Boogie People” from 1979 is one of the classic shifts from the funk-groove of mid-70’s dance music to a more high energy flowing sound. “Disco’s My Life” is a mini-anthem which projects the time and place of dance floor during the peak of the late 70’s where disco music reined and made many feet happy. It is sung by Silvie Doucet and Tiziana Bibbo in a fashion that plays out in every way that disco music spoke.

I have taken the 12” version of “Disco’s My Life” and played out another dub-like ReStructure Mix. There is more of the fantasy of the disco dance floor where many were lost in during the wave.
