REISSUE: "Street Life" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Crusaders

REISSUE: "Street Life" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Crusaders The Crusaders are a jazz-dance group with members Wilton Felder, Nesbert "Stix" Hooper, Joseph Sample and Larry Carlton. Founded in 1956 and began recording albums in 1961. "Street Life" is their 1979 project and features jazz vocalist Randy Crawford on the title track. A nice jazz-disco number with the vocal topping the shine of the production. I have taken the album version of "Street Life" and have given it a new ReStructure Mix with a new arrangement and some sprinkles of disco-dub throughout. It is one of my favorite tracks from The Crusaders and with Randy on vocals it has always been in the back of my mind - along with the memory of a crowded dance floor when I programmed the song.
