ReStructure Mix Update (4/14/21) “Tobacco Road” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Bob-a-Rela

Bob-a-Rela is a space disco project from producers George Lagios and Pat Deserio from Canada. The disco explosion could never have occurred without their work with Bombers and the talent which came from their sessions. “Tobacco Road” is a cover of the John D. Loudermilk 1960 classic. This is a prime example of the genius of these musicians who use the original to push out more of it with electronics and modern riffs. The Bob-a-Rela project is one of the best of that finale of disco orchestrations with that ring around it as Saturn has. This one plays on with the ragged feel of the original and a few shinning disc touches,

I have taken the album version of “Tobacco Road” and also the 12” remix by Richie Rivera and created a new ReStructure Mix. This one pays tribute to my favorite period of disco and two of the great producers who interpreted it very well.
