ReStructure Mix Update (7/8/22): “It’s Up To You” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Lian Ross

Lian Ross (Josephine Hiebel) is a German vocalist who became one of the welcomed artists of the mid-80s on dance floors. Her big hit, “Fantasy” from 1985 is one of the high energy releases which I savored during the time period – it not only featured a great and majestic electronic dance edge but also Lian’s beautiful vocals. “It’s Up To You” is another single released in 1986 – produced by Luis Rodríguez-Salazar. This lovely track is an uplifting and haunting sound that resonates the beauty that high energy music can sound right on the dance floor. There are angelic effects that make the wind blow right on the dance floor.

I have taken the 12” version along with the “Love Call Version” and morphed a new ReStructure Mix for Lian’s track. There is more emphasis on the fading of elements and a new fade that works the original intro.
