ReStructure Mix Update (7/8/22): “Superman” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – C.K.B.

C.K.B. is a disco project from Luigi Ojival – who also gave us Diva Gray and Oyster from 1979. “Superman” is their single from the “New York City Women” project released in 1978. Another disco tribute to the “Man of Steel” and even today maintains his spot in entertainment. This fast moving dance track features some great rhythm guitars and imaginative lyrics/vocals. An adoring chorus of “Superman” fans gives the super-hero a life in a few statements and makes the chorus uplifting and fun.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental version of “Superman” and reignited the energy for this ReStructure Mix. Giving the foundation a new base beat for stability and reworking those guitars for a new adventure.
