V.I.S.A. is an Italian disco project from producers Angelo Piccarreta & Felix Music Production – with arranger Celso Valli bringing his style to the project. This one is very reminiscent of the 1979 session titled, Nuggets. Lots of disco orchestrations that blare like a Village People number from the late 70’s. The album titled “San Francisco” is one the complete Italian disco pieces which encompass that celebratory edge which disco music thrived on. “Action Tonight” is a cut from this album which has the feel of a love song transformed into a Main Street parade. It gives way to the wonderful chorus which is very reminiscent of Peter Jacques Band. Disco gem this one shines as the memory and influence of disco continues.
I have taken the album version of “Action Tonight” and rebuilt this number for a new ReStructure Mix outline. Using pieces of the rhythm guitars and horn sections to create more momentum with a heavy bass beat also.
