Sting is Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner is a musician, songwriter and singer who is also known at the start of his career with the band, The Police. His solo ventures in the mid-and late 80’s includes his single “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free” from 1985. Produced by Pete Smith and Sting this track resonates as one of Sting’s profound pieces with a dire message of love and life.
