"Girl, Don't Make Me Wait Too Long" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Pattie Brooks

"Girl, Don't Make Me Wait Too Long" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Pattie Brooks

Pattie Brooks released her first LP titled "Love Shook" which featured The Simon Orchestra in 1977 - produced by Simon Soussan. It was one of the early disco projects on Casablanca Records which outlined the full disco orchestra along with a featured disco artist as proved formula.

"Girl, Don't Make Me Wait Too Long" was the single from the LP which received immediate play and soon after became one of Pattie's first hits. The track was originally recorded in 1966 by Bunny Sigler, in 1968 by Timebox and again in 1974 by Bo Donaldson and The Heywoods.

In 1978 Pattie's second LP featured her biggest hit, "After Dark" which was that years biggest disco hits of all time.

I have taken the song and given it a new face lift in the ReStructure Mix vein - a new intro, break and synths along the new arrangement.

Watch for Pattie's new release from Nu & Improved Records titled, "It's All About The Music" - produced by disco genius, Rick Gianatos - http://www.nuandimprovedrecords.com - release is set for February 2011

My favourite Pattie Brooks track! I've always loved the lush orchestration of this song, and your remix emphasizes all the elements I love. What a winner! Nick
