Sister Power is a disco group from Producer Paul
Sabu - who also brought us a couple of solo disco projects, Debbie
Jacobs, an Ann Margret disco album and singles, and many engineering
and remix projects during the early 80s.
Gwen Jonae supplies the lead vocal for Sister Power - and she fills the rolls of "disco diva" quite well. "Gimme Back My Love Affair" was the first single from the "Sister Power" album. One of the most exciting and innovative disco tracks of the last period of the disco era.
I have taken the promo 12" and have given the song a new ReStructure Mix with some breakaway moments and extended elements. It is intended to give the song another moment to feel the energy and power of disco music.
This ReStructure Mix is dedicated to George T. from Facebook for his support and for giving the disco diva a home again!
