REISSUE: “Give Me Your Body” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Dana Kay
Dana Kay is a German disco artist who released a single titled “Give Me Your Body” in 1988 – produced by Jorg Schoch (Back To Fun). The track is an Italodance flavor with a full electronic production and the sensual vocals of Dana lifting the track into several crescendos. The single did well for me on several levels during early evening high energy sets and also a nice after hour mood. I have always enjoyed this song and the uplifting sensuality of its theme. I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “Give Me Your Body” and reworked a ReStructure Mix for a revisit to the powerful Italo influence on dance music in the mid and late 80’s. It is still a breath of fresh air when doused with a classic rock vocal piece.
