REISSUE: “Hot Lunch Jam” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Irene Cara

REISSUE: “Hot Lunch Jam” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Irene Cara Irene Cara is a 70’s icon who made her way through the film and music industry. In 1980 she starred in the motion picture “Fame” and also sang the title track along with “Hot Lunch Jam” and a ballad titled “Out Here On My Own”. Irene Cara’s career was in top form during this run and it lead to another follow up in the film “Flashdance” where she also sang the titled track – produced by Giorgio Moroder. “Hot Lunch Jam” is a segment of the film where student of an art academy ad-lib a session in the lunch hall. It is one of the memorable moments from the film and gives this track a lasting memory. I have taken the album version of “Hot Lunch Jam” and recreated a new intro and outline for this ReStructure Mix, I have centered on using the intro beats as the guide for this new experience of a “hot” number.
