ReStructure Mix Update (3/7/21) “Move This” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Technotronic
Technotronic started as a Belgium Beat studio concept and eventually became one of the 80’s most prominent sounds and echoes. This electronic movement was a cross between house music’s deep beats and heavy bass and a nu-new wave essence in style and arrangement. Lead by producer Jo Bogaert and eventually becoming the new riff for rap. It was another period in dance history where two mediums of dance united for excitement. “Move This” is one of the singles from the “Pump Up The Jam” project from 1989 and again features Felly on simple words and energy. This one is a touch of flavor for the end of the 80’s and a huge influence on dance music in the 90’s.
I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “Move This” and rejammed a ReStructure Mix using more of the pieces to recreate some new sound. There is more bass pumping in and out of the mix and some fades that give the vocal a new spot.
