ReStructure Mix Update (3/8/21) “Wonderful City” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Marika
Marika is Andrea Delfino – an Italo-disco vocalist who began recording in 1989 and with the single “Wonderful City” with her captivating sound. The single was produced by Franco Diaferia and Marika and features a percussion driven arrangement which has an anthem like quality n its simplicity and wonderful piano segments. It is one of the lovely pieces from the Italo-disco world and even today sounds as beautiful.
I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental versions of “Wonderful City” and remapped a new ReStructure Mix and plays out with more of the samba-feel bongos. There are more pieces edited and looped for some new changes within the play.
