Suzy Q is a Canadian disco project from producer Jerry Cucuzzella. The studio work consisted of three separate lead vocalist representing time periods and releases. The 1985 cover of Suzi Lane’s “Harmony” (originally produced by Giorgio Moroder) is one of the best disco reworks since the vocals come into a diva-like realm and explode throughout this new arrangement. The lead vocal from Angie Vileno are stamp in this production and make the track new all over again. A great 80’s remake and also another example of high energy taking the initiative to keep dance music alive.
I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of Suzy Q’s “Harmony” and re-managed the great keyboard work into a whole new ReStructure Mix. A play with the vocals in areas and also adding a few new breaks along the way.
