ReStructure Mix Update (8/15/25): ”Walking In The Night” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Giusy Dej

Giusy Dej (Giuseppina De Iacovo) is a Italo-disco project from 1984 and is one of the electronic productions which takes the sequencer patterns into a new realm. “Walking In The Night” is an artsy electro-vibe track which began as a street beat outline along with the accompaniment of Giusy short explanation of relationship troubles. The remix by Flemming Dalum creates a hardcore instrumental which would shake the rafters of any club in its execution. One of the Italo-disco pieces which may have been overlooked however disco audiophiles who search for that Moroder-like influence may have taken this one under their arms as a treasure.

I have taken the 12” original mix and remix of “Walking In The Night” and worked on this ReStructure Mix. The layering of pieces in each version creates a new place for this wandering piece. A touch of that street beat influence are the finale touches to embellish in the original.
