Telex is Dan Lacksman, Marc Moulin and Michel Moers. A trio which created and programmed an alternative electronic dance sound that became popular in the early 80s with the new-wave era. “L’Amour Toujours” is from their 1984 project titled “Wonderful World”. It is the outline of their on-spot technical arena where the pulses of sound create rhythm and futuristic arrangements. “L’Amour Toujours” is a love song which is based on the time of now where love matters most. The original album version is a more melodic arrangement and soon after a remix featuring a more pulsating and jittery feel. The sound of Telex is emerging from this track and is one of my many favorites from this ensemble.
I have taken the album version and the 12” remix of “L’Amour Toujours” and worked them into a new suite for this ReStructure Mix. There are pieces of both versions in segments of the new arrangement and a few new breaks.
