ReStructure Mix Update (8/29/25): ”In A Gadda Da Vida” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Disco Circus

Disco Circus is a production from Jurgen Korduletsch - who also brought us Claudja Barry, Lipstique, Gaz and Suzie and The Cubans. The group consisted of the Munich disco scene who were well outlined on where disco music was headed during 1978 when the album was released. A disco cover of Iron Butterfly’s “In A Gadda Da Vida” is one of tracks from this project and gives the rock classic a sweetened flavor with the female disco ensemble panting out the now sensual style in the 70s disco flavor. The electronic production works hard to recreate a lighter edge on the song and the percussion gives the piece its groove.

I have taken the album version of Disco Circus’ “In A Gadda Da Vida” and re-rocked the ReStructure Mix. Using elements of the original Iron Butterfly version along with loops from the disco version I have rearranged and replayed the song once again.
